Vendaje Application Guide

Step 1: Wound Site Preparation: (Use Aseptic technique)

Make sure that the wound is checked and no infection is present.

Debride wound, removing all necrotic, non-viable and hyperkeratotic tissue

Step 2: Remove From Packaging - Carefully follow the V-AC allograft preparation steps using aseptic technique.VA-C allografts are packaged in a double peel-pouch packaging configurationThe outer peel pouch is NOT sterile. The inner pouch is sterile.

Step 3: Assess Tissue Allograft Size Required, Prep, and Apply

Cut V-AC to required size with sharp sterile scissors. Place V-AC on the wound.

Step 4: Secure Vendaje AC® Tissue Allograft and Cover:

Cut V-AC to required size with sharp sterile scissors. Anchor tissue using preferred method. Allograft will hydrostatically adhere to a moist wound. Cover V-AC using a non adherent bandage (maintain a moist wound environment) and wrap area with gauze.Evaluate wound site regularly. Repeat process, as necessary.
